چکیده

Abstract Increased resistance of pathogenic bacteria due to the use antibiotics has become a major concern in aquaculture industry. Environmentally friendly products are urgently needed replace for treatments fish diseases. This study aims determine activity extract Jeringau ( Acorus calamus ) as an antibacterial towards Aeromonas hydrophila, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Vibrio alginolyticus . The A. was obtained by maceration using ethanol solvent. tested its phytochemical content agar diffusion method. used were concentrations 200, 300, 400, 500 600 mg mL -1 Phytochemical test results produced alkaloids, phenolic compounds, saponins, terpenoids flavonoids. inhibition showed that with concentration 200 able inhibit growth hydrophila 13.9 mm, 300 (14.4 mm), 400 (14.8 (16.2 (16.5 mm).
